2015 Eco-REU Students
Tyler Fletcher, Connors State College: Majoring in Mathematics; Minor in Agriculture
Tyler’s work focused on the influence of water quality on greenhouse gas fluxes from a rice field. His presentation at the 2015 AWRC Conference was “The Difference in Methane Output in Correlation to Water Quality Over a Conventionally Flooded and Alternative Wetting and Drying Rice Fields”.
Dustyn Perkins, University of Arkansas: Majoring in Biological Engineering
Dustyn’s work focused on the isotopic signature of greenhouse gases (CO2 and CH4) emitted from a rice field to the atmosphere. His presentation at the 2015 AWRC Conference was “Different Sources of Methane Emissions in Conventional and Alternate Wetting and Drying Rice Fields”.
